What belongs on NIM Dare

Not allowed, ever

Content in these categories is removed, and the account behind it can be blocked from creating dares.

• Dares that could injure someone. Nothing involving choking, breath-holding, swallowing anything harmful, fire, heights, traffic, weapons or self-harm. A reward makes a dangerous dare more tempting, not less — so these are refused outright.
• Anything sexual involving minors. Zero tolerance. This is reported to the relevant authorities, not just removed.
• Sexual content and nudity. Including dares that ask someone to undress, send intimate images, or perform sexual acts.
• Threats, harassment and hate. Targeting anyone with violence, abuse, or attacks based on who they are.
• Doxxing. Posting or demanding someone’s address, phone number, workplace, or other private information.
• Illegal activity. Dares to steal, trespass, vandalise, or break the law where you are.
• Non-consensual recording. Filming people who have not agreed to be filmed, hidden-camera footage, or intimate images shared without consent.

Consent and other people

If a dare involves someone else — filming them, pranking them, touching them — they must have agreed beforehand. “They found it funny afterwards” is not consent. Do not post media of anyone who has not agreed to appear in it, and never post media of children.

Spam and manipulation

• No advertising, referral farming, or repeated near-identical dares.
• No moving payment off-platform, asking for deposits up front, or promising guaranteed returns.
• Never share a seed phrase, recovery phrase or private key — with us or with anyone. No legitimate dare will ever ask for one.
• No impersonating other people, brands, or NIM Dare itself.
• No creating extra accounts or clearing cookies to get around a limit or a removal.

Reporting

Every dare and every submission has a Report control. You do not need a wallet or an account to use it.

• Pick the closest reason and add detail if it helps. One report per person per item is counted.
• When enough different people report the same item, it is hidden automatically while a moderator reviews it.
• A moderator can restore content that was hidden unfairly, or remove it permanently. Both outcomes are recorded.
• Reports are not anonymous to us — we keep a one-way hash so the same person cannot report an item repeatedly — but they are never shown to the person you reported.

Deliberately false or mass reporting is itself a rule violation.

Uploads

Photos and videos are held for review before anyone else can see them. Accepted formats are JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP and MP4, up to 8 MB. Upload only media you made or have the right to post.

Cancelling a dare

The creator of a dare can cancel it at any time before a prize has been paid. See Payments and disputes for what that means for the reward.

If your content is removed

Removals are recorded with a reason. If you think a decision was wrong, reply to the notice you were shown and a moderator will look again. Repeated or severe violations end in a permanent block.
